Riding my motorcycle, dog parks with my dogs, listening to Blue until my ears bleed..... what else could there be?

I listen to anything. My obvious addiction is BLUE OCTOBER (I think I'll have taken in 19 shows by the end of 2007), PERRY WILLIAMS (an up and coming musician that I met on MySpace) who's been a fun guy to know and a real sweetheart, JONNY LANG who has had my heart since 1997 when we first saw him barefoot on stage, JACKIE GREENE who is raw talent, musician GAVIN DEGRAW who is genuine in person and such a joy to watch, DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE who speaks directly to my soul with their thought out lyrics, old favorites like PETER GABRIEL, PHIL COLLINS, GENESIS, LED ZEPPLIN, PINK FLOYD, AC/DC, METALLICA, KENNY ROGERS AND JOHNNY CASH, alternative's GREEN DAY, GEORGE WINSTON who is nostalgic for me from a time when things weren't so good but his piano was soothing to listen to, and just about anything blues will get my foot a'tappin'. My tastes are so varied and there are just way too many good artists to fit on this entire page if given the room. Music has saved my life. Adds color to it on a daily basis. It's my getaway. A 3-5 minute zone out where you can let your mind wander. It's been that way since I got my first AM/FM headset when I was 12, and would fall asleep to the local country station. Back when a talent like DOLLY PARTON would sing about her coat of many colors and how much she loved her momma, and when "Take This Job And Shove It" didn't have half as much meaning as it does now. You put on the headphones to block out the noise and escape it all.
FANTASIA, SEVEN, BRAVEHEART, THE SHINING, TOMMY BOY, AMERICAN BEAUTY, MY LIFE AS A HOUSE, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, LOST BOYS, THE UNTOUCHABLES, AMERICAN BEAUTY, CLERKS 2, GONE IN 60 SECONDS, DEAD ALIVE, THE DESCENT, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, HELLRAISER, any scary movie that gives me the eeby jeebies days later. Oh, what a rush! GHOST (I do so appreciate pottery), ROAD HOUSE, and you can't forget DIRTY DANCING ("nobody puts baby in the corner")!
To be honest with you I'm not much of a reader. Takes too damn long. But I have found some gems in the ones I have taken on. NEEDFUL THINGS (or any STEPHEN KING, except Gerald's Game which completely sucked [sorry Stephen]), MARLEY & ME (awesome book for you dog lovers), A DOG YEAR - 12 MONTHS 4 DOGS & ME, WHAT THE DOG DID, Tony Stewart "TRUE SPEED" (easy read for you Nascar fans & a very good book). First books I remember loving are THE TALL BOOK OF MAKE BELIEVE (last printing in about 1954), PETER RABBIT (which my mom had to hide from me because I kept making her read it over and over!) and the BLACK STALLION. I tried to get through the MICKEY SPILLANE COLLECTION but got bored and didn't finish. I'm like that with books. They really have to grab my attention or it gets set down.
